Based in Perth Scotland and now retired I spend lots of time wandering about at all hours with my digital camera and enjoying the process of looking for new landscape images.

Photography has been an interest of mine since the early 1960s but it really grew when that Russian Zenit 35mm camera at university in Aberdeen.  At first it was all about taking photos and then developing and printing images but when the kids came along I opted for an easy compact Konica to concentrate on family snaps rather than setting up a tripod for sunsets and sunrises or working in the darkroom.

When the first digital cameras came along I was not impressed …like comparing a CDs to vinyl records!  But when I saw what my son was doing with a Canon 5D  DSLR my interest for landscape photography and photography in general returned. Then when he very kindly gave me his Canon 5D mark 2, I invested in three lenses and other equipment. Being retired I have the time not only chase sunsets and sunrises but to experience and most importantly enjoy various landscapes at all times of the day and all times of the year. 

The images for sale on this site are a record of what I have seen through the camera lens.  More of my images can be viewed on my Instagram  and Flickr pages.
